Rising Red Moon Chapter 4: Naruto: The Demon of the Leaf Village

The sun rose in the Sand Village, but it was very cloudy and a commotion came over the village. The people were hearing rumors of a battle that took place between A-ranked criminals and one Leaf Shinobi. They were also hearing about their Kazekage, getting involved in this battle. In the Sand government building, inside the Office of the Kazekage Gaara was looking at some repots on the situation concerning him and the Leaf ninja. He heard from some of the Sand Ninja about a demon who can slay over 20 ninja all at once. He than remembered Naruto’s Wind Dragon Jutsu, and that it slew nearly 20 of those A-ranked Akatsuki ninja he fought yesterday. He looked up from the papers and there was Kankuro and Temari across from him on the other side of the office. “Were going to need to speak about this with everyone,” said Gaara. Temari nodded and left go see if any of the others were awake. “The situation has worsened beyond our greatest worries,” Gaara said holding his head up with his hand. “What do you mean,” Kankuro asked? “I’ll explain all when Naruto gets here,” replied The Kazekage getting up from his chair, going to the window and staring outside at the sunrise of the Sand Village.

Naruto woke up in the arms of Hinata; she was at complete peace in her sleep. Naruto remembered how much she cried when she heard Naruto say “never see him again.” He had felt bad that he said those words, he didn’t mean for it to ruin their relationship. Naruto continued to look in her sleeping face thinking about how to tell her why those Akatsuki ninja were after him and the reason why he was shunned in the Leaf Village; Kyuubi: The Nine-Tailed-Fox. He continued to think on how long they would continue to hunt Naruto. He wanted to tell Hinata why they were coming for him, but he was afraid of how she would react to the truth. He trembled at the thought that she would reject him as the villagers rejected him; until he heard Hinata make a sound. Hinata slowly woke up to Naruto looking in her lavender eyes. “Naruto… What’s wrong,” Hinata asked curiously? Naruto thought about what to say but he feared that Hinata would think differently about him.-She loves you to much to even care about me, little boy- Said Kyuubi being surprisingly supportive of Naruto. –Maybe you’re right and what’s with being so supportive lately- Naruto asked. –You’ve done things for me, so I’m paying you back in full- Kyuubi replied. Hinata removed her arms Naruto sat up. “Hinata there is a reason that those ninja were after me, and I’m going to tell you,” said Naruto. Hinata sat up looking straight at Naruto. “Long ago a Demon called The Nine-Tailed-Fox attacked our Village, and the 4th Hokage defeated him in combat,” as Naruto continued. “Yes, I know this Naruto,” Hinata replied. Hinata looked at Naruto and could tell there was sadness in his eyes, as if he was going to cry. “The Fox wasn’t truly defeated, for you see he’s still alive,” Naruto said powering up his Chakra. In seconds the seal markings appeared on his stomach. Hinata looked at the makings with curiosity. “That’s why the village shunned me, because I contain the Fox demon inside me,” He paused a bit “and why those ninja were after me, to capture the fox by removing it from me and thus killing me,” he said trying to contain his tears thinking of what Hinata would say to him. She was quiet for a bit and Naruto couldn’t help but think that was she going to shun him as well. Hinata then looked up at Naruto, drew closer to him a kissed him on the lips. “It does not matter that you have a Demon inside you, I love you and nothing’s going to change the way I feel about you, Naruto,” Hinata said smiling. Naruto wiped the tears from his eyes and gave Hinata a hug and a kiss. They both looked at the clock and it said it was 7:35 A.M, so they got up, and proceeded to prepare for the day ahead. Naruto got dressed before Hinata did and they both exited their room to find that Kiba and Shino across from their room door. “Hey, you two, we’re needed in Gaara’s office,” said Kiba looking at the two of them. Kiba was smiling, and Shino was just staring at them. “So how long has it been,” asked Kiba? Naruto and Hinata both blushed simultaneously. “What do you mean Kiba,” asked Hinata. “Oh come on Hinata you of all people can’t hide the fact that you two are in love and have been going at it,” Said Kiba smiling harder. “Fine, yes we are in love but you two can’t tell anyone got it,” said Naruto proudly pointing at Shino and Kiba. “Fine by me, but it will only be a matter of time before word gets out,” said Kiba walking off along with Shino. Naruto and Hinata followed them to Gaara’s office.

All four of them entered Gaara’s office, inside were the rest of the Leaf Shinobi, Gaara, Kankuro, and Temari. Gaara sat at his desk, with Temari and Kankuro at his sides, while the rest were scattered through out the small room. Naruto, Hinata, Shino, and Kiba stood against the far wall away from Gaara. Kiba was still smiling at what he and Shino had figured out that Hinata and Naruto were now lovers, but he kept his mouth shut. “So what are to do now,” asked Naruto towards everyone. “Well first of all we can’t let you all return to the Leaf Village just yet until they send us the message that it’s all clear,” replied Temari. “Especially now that rumors of you have spread across the area,” Said Kankuro looking at Naruto. “Wh…What do mean,” asked Sakura as all the others looked at Naruto? “Naruto Uzumaki: The Demon of the Leaf Village,” Temari said. All the Ninja especially Naruto and Hinata were shocked at this. Naruto looked around at his friends but one person caused him a great discomfort; Neji. Naruto looked at Neji and he had the look at hatred and contempt. Then Naruto remembered that Neji threatened to kill him if Hinata was to be harmed and she did. Naruto knew that Neji was going to hate him and it was going to be very difficult to explain everything to him. Naruto put his head down as there was a deep silence that seemed almost annoying to all. –At last my recognition is returning- said Kyuubi laughing evilly. –this isn’t funny, you know that we’re going to be hunted even more now don’t you. - replied Naruto. –you do have a point Naruto- Naruto looked up at Gaara, and Gaara had “that your about to say something look in his face”. Naruto just looked around at his fellow Shinobi and didn’t know what to say or react. “What should we do in the mean time?” asked Shikamaru. “We should stay hear until Lady Hokage sends word to us,” replied Sakura. “There’s one problem to that idea Shikamaru, and that is it’s only a matter of time until Naruto is discovered,” Temari explained. “That’s just the surface problem; the real issue is the fact that Naruto’s alias is spreading across the countries and soon more problems will soon come,” added Kankuro. “What do you mean by that,” asking Kiba. “People will soon fear the name Naruto, and it’ll cause problems for your village,” replied Temari. Throughout the conversations Gaara sat in his chair motionless, listening in on the words being exchanged between everyone. Naruto kept quiet, all he could think about was how to explain to Neji that they were ambushed and Hinata wasn’t prepared to fight a group of A-ranked ninja. He then looked over at Hinata, who had kept her head down as she was listening to the conversations that occurred in the room. She wasn’t able to protect Naruto let alone herself in that conflict. “But if Naruto is supposed to remain here then what should we do,” asked Sakura. “I’ll train myself as I’ve done for the past few days,” replied Naruto. Hinata quickly looked at Naruto, she knew what he meant; he was going increase his Chakra like he did at the small clearing yesterday morning. “Yes, you may do that just don’t ever leave the village,” replied Gaara. Naruto turned towards the door, and walked out. “Well, I guess we can’t stop him after all,” said Sakura. “Yeah, we’ll just have to keep an eye on the village and him too,” added Ino. “I’ll do that,” quickly said Neji walking out the door following Naruto. “Well I guess this meeting is adjourned,” said Gaara. The room emptied while Gaara got back to his duties as the Kazekage.

Naruto walked up the stairs to the roof of the Sand Village’s Government building. Upon getting to the roof he could feel the heat that was the average temperature of the Sand Village. Thou it was pretty hot for him. He proceeded to look out at the village skyline thou there was nothing special to see. He sat in the middle of the roof, when he activated the “Chakra Wall Destruction Jutsu”. The area of where his Chakra was stored appeared and again Kyuubi awaited him. –You have arrived- said Kyuubi with a discomfort in his voice. –What’s wrong you sound different- said Naruto looking at Kyuubi questionably. –I guess that we’re going to be hunted even harder than before and that child seemed to have the intent to kill you in his eyes- answered Kyuubi. –Neji, yeah I know, but I wonder if he’ll actually carry out his threat he made before all this happened- said Naruto. Kyuubi laid on the blackness that posed as the ground, and watched Naruto walk over to the Wall of Chakra. Naruto then powered another Rasengan and attacked the Wall. At fist the wall cracked and then it shattered into pieces. – that makes 10 walls you’ve destroyed, Naruto- said Kyuubi lifting his head. –Yeah, well now comes the downside of the jutsu, bye- Naruto woke up sitting on the ground, he then stood up and began to waste his chakra using his Shadow Clone Jutsu. Naruto brought forth at least 50 clones and he wasn’t the least bit tired. The Clones and Naruto then converged on each other in an epic battle to determine whose better.

Within an hour all the clones were vanquished and Naruto was exhausted for his clones lasted longer than normally. He fell down on his back and waited for his Chakra to return. “Don’t you dare fall you pathetic person,” yelled someone coming from the door going down stairs. Naruto looked over and there was Neji looking directly at Naruto with the same angered look in his eyes. Naruto got up and waved at Neji. “Don’t wave at me, I told you to protect Hinata with your life and you didn’t,” said Neji in an angry voice. Naruto then realized Neji was going to for fill his promise to the letter. “Now, I’m going to kill you Naruto,” said Neji activating his Byakugan and assuming his fighting stance. “Wait Neji, how were supposed to be prepared to fight A-ranked ninja,” said Naruto trying to calm Neji down. “It doesn’t matter I warned you and now your going to die by my hand,” countered Neji charging at Naruto. Naruto jumped out of the way as he knew that if Neji was to connect a punch it would prevent his chakra from flowing and he wouldn’t be able to use jutsu. He jumped to the side and used the Shadow clone jutsu to confuse Neji. The clones all surrounded Neji, they all prepared themselves to attack Neji, but Naruto just wanted to get Neji to tire out first since he clearly had more chakra then him. “Shadow Clone Jutsu,” yelled out Neji and clones of him appeared. Naruto was a little shocked that Neji could use the Shadow Clone Jutsu, But this worked to Naruto’s Advantage for it will tire Neji out faster. The clones of Neji attack Naruto’s clones and they began fighting. Neji’s clones had an advantage thou, they all had Byakugan activated and it only took one hit to vanquish Naruto’s clones. Naruto was the only one left while Neji’s clones were all unharmed and all looking straight at him. Naruto first thought about using the “Wind Dragon Jutsu” but he didn’t know which one the real Neji was. So Naruto began to create the Rasengan, and this time he could do it perfectly without clones or using his other hand. He charged at one of the Neji’s hoping that the one he was going for wasn’t the real one. The Neji tried to get out of the way but was caught and flew back towards the door. Naruto looked around and all the other Neji’s disappeared. Naruto swallowed for he had hit the real Neji, and he looked over to the real Neji who was standing up looking at Naruto. Naruto now knew that Neji was angrier than ever now and he’ll need to tire him out. Neji regained his stance staring at Naruto, but he just stood there waiting for Naruto to attack.

Hinata was in the room where Naruto and she both slept in over night. She was sitting on a chair that pointed out a window looking upon the village. She thought about since Naruto was now sort of famous her father will probably get wind of the both of them being in love. She wondered what his reaction would be; would he support the relationship or will he resent it, thus putting Hinata under guard so as to prevent the two of them from seeing each other. She couldn’t help but consistently think about her future with Naruto. Will he ask to marry her, will he make it to Hokage, will they live a happy life together, will she be able become stronger because of him. All these thoughts raced through her mind, and she blushes crimson red for the thoughts all revolve around the both of them being together. That was something Hinata wanted for a long time, to be with Naruto for as long as possible. “Hey Hinata,” said a voice coming from behind her. Hinata turned to see who it was, and in the door way was Sakura. “Oh hello Sakura, what brings you here,” Hinata asked getting up from the chair. “I see that it happened,” Sakura said smiling at Hinata. At first Hinata’s blush grew redder, “What do you mean.” “Oh come on, Kiba smiling when he walked into Gaara’s room, you two sticking with each other, and what Naruto did after you got hurt, It’s kind of obvious that you two are in love,” countered Sakura. Hinata knew that she hit every mark she could possibly get. “Please don’t tell anyone, Kiba and Shino know,” panicked Hinata. Sakura just looked at her and she could tell that Hinata truly wanted to keep Naruto and her love a secret. “Fine I won’t tell, but it’s going to be hard to keep it a secret,” replied Sakura. Hinata was about to tell Sakura something when Kiba ran in with a worry on his face. “Kiba what’s wrong,” asked Sakura. “Neji blew it, and he’s trying to kill Naruto,” he said with panic. Hinata gasped, “Where?” “On the roof,” Kiba replied. Hinata and Sakura both pushed Kiba aside and Kiba followed to try and quell the fighting. They ran through the halls until they got to the stairs, and proceeded to go up. Hinata thought Neji knew about the both of them and was trying to act as a messenger to Hiashi, her father. They both got up to the roof and saw the both of them staring at each other. Neji looked well beaten but not severely enough to prevent him from fighting. Naruto on the other hand wasn’t even scratched; he seemed to have even been touched never mind hurt. Hinata looked at Neji again and could realize that Naruto wasn’t trying to hurt Neji but instead tire him out so he could stop fighting. Neji looked back and saw them standing there watching his and Naruto’s fight.

Naruto looked at Hinata, Sakura and Kiba who all had worry in their faces. He thought that his fighting with Neji would change Hinata’s attitude towards him. He couldn’t help thinking about the thoughts Hinata must be having towards this fight. Neji then charged again at Naruto, Naruto saw Neji and leaped out of the way. His speed was still beyond that of Neji’s, and that gave him the edge to keep him away from Naruto. “Naruto fight back, you killed many ninja yesterday, what’s wrong with attacking me,” yelled Neji. Naruto looked at him thinking on how to react to what he just said. “Because they weren’t my friends, you are,” replied Naruto. “Then I’ll keep attacking until I eventually kill you,” Neji said charging at Naruto attempting to disrupt his Chakra again. Naruto saw that Neji really meant what he said, and the only way to calm him down was to find a way for the fighting to end quickly. He thought of using a weaker version of the Rasengan to propel Neji against a wall, but that may caused Hinata to think differently of Naruto. He then thought that the Wind dragon was out of the question. He then remembered what Kyuubi said during the training with Jiraiya.

It was about one year after Naruto left with Jiraiya; it was in a small forest where they had camped out for a month. The forest was dense so you couldn’t see 10 yards away, and the trees provided enough shade to cool the area. Naruto was lying down against a tree waiting for Jiraiya to return from his “research”. It was in the middle of the afternoon, and Naruto was waiting for Jiraiya to teach him something new. –Wanting to learn, little boy- proudly speaking to Naruto. –Not from you that’s for sure- countered Naruto. Jiraiya told Naruto that Kyuubi will try and manipulate Naruto to doing terrible things for him. –But this isn’t a jutsu; it’s just a way to get out of a fight you know you want to end- Kyuubi spoke with a deep voice. Naruto was now interested-what do you mean, what could you possibly teach me.- Kyuubi was silent for a bit- to make your enemies fear you.- -What you can teach me something like that- Naruto replied shocked at the fact Kyuubi was willing to teach him something. – Yes, you see all you need are my eyes, look at your enemies straight in the eye, and you can inspire fear in the strongest of warriors- Kyuubi said with a smile. Naruto was astonished that he could do that. Naruto woke up at the sound of laughter; Jiraiya had brought two lovely girls with him. “Oh Jiraiya that isn’t true, is it,” one of the girls said rubbing Jiraiya’s chest. “Oh yeah baby it’s all true,” Jiraiya said laughing out loud as he always did when a pretty girl was touching him. Naruto could tell Jiraiya was somewhat drunk, but he was still completely out of his mind. “Oh Jiraiya, your so silly,” laughed the other girl. “Hey way don’t we go into my tent and we ‘Talk’ some more,” replied Jiraiya. The girls both laughed, and Naruto couldn’t take it anymore. “Hey purvey-Sage and you two ladies,” Naruto said and they all looked at him. –Hey I want to try out the technique, alright- Naruto said to Kyuubi. Naruto then felt strange but he knew that it was working. “Hey kid if you don’t mind I have some research to do,” said Jiraiya looking at Naruto. Naruto looked up at them and opened his eyes. His were slited, and blood red. The ladies looked at him and began to slowly fear him. Naruto’s fangs started to grow and the whiskers started to get thicker. The girls finally screamed and ran back to the village. Jiraiya looked at Naruto, trying to hide his fear but if failed. Jiraiya ran into the tent screaming, and Naruto started laughing and he could hear Kyuubi laughing with him. –Ah Naruto you make me so proud to be sealed inside you- Kyuubi said proudly.  Naruto may have gotten very disciplined for ruining Jiraiya’s moment but he never let Naruto sit around doing nothing again.

Naruto and Neji were about 10 feet away from each other, and Neji was about ready to attack. –Kyuubi lend me you eyes- he ordered Kyuubi. –Oh this will be fun, very well then- he said with a proud voice. Naruto quickly closed his eyes, and Neji saw this as a moment of weakness. “Never close your eyes in combat, Naruto,” Neji yelled charging at Naruto. Hinata afraid that Neji will hurt Naruto started going in to stop Neji. Naruto slowly opened his eyes and he began to look more feral. His fangs grew out, his whiskers grew thicker and his nails grew into claws. Neji slowed down to a complete stop, and Naruto opened his eyes fully revealing the slited, blood red eyes. Neji completely stop and his mouth was open. Naruto slowly approached him, and with each step Naruto took Neji walked back. Hinata stopped as well seeing Naruto’s appearance change. Sakura and Kiba were both stilled with fear, and Neji fell backwards on his rear. He began to crawl backwards until he got to the wall. “Do you surrender,” said Naruto in his demonic voice. “Yes please don’t hurt me,” said Neji pleading. With that answer Naruto reverted back to his former self, and he looked at the other who were some what afraid the Naruto could scare Neji. Hinata went over to him with tears in her eyes; Naruto expected the worst, but instead Hinata wrapped her arms around him and cried in his chest. Naruto put his hand on Hinata’s head and began stroking her hair as a means to calm her. Neji got up and walked over to them both as did Sakura and Kiba. “Neji look I’m sorry but it was the only way to stop the fight,” Naruto said looking at him. “No, it was Hinata embracing you that stopped me,” corrected Neji. “Hinata it’s alright, I’m okay and Neji’s fine,” said Naruto with comforting words. Hinata still cried in his chest not seaming to stop; Naruto knew that she wouldn’t stop after she saw him like that. Naruto picked Hinata up and walked towards the door with Sakura, Neji and Kiba behind him.

Naruto entered their bedroom with Hinata in his arms. She stopped crying when they both entered the room. He placed her on the bed and she took him with her. They both began kissing, and rolling around in the bed. Hinata got on top of Naruto and she looked down at him; Naruto had the look of worry on his face again. “Naruto what’s wrong,” Hinata asked him. Naruto was silent a bit; thinking of what to say to her. “It’s my fault, it’s my fault that you got hurt, and why Neji fought me,” Naruto said beating himself. “No it’s mine, only I was stronger I would’ve been able to protect you like what Jiraiya told me to do,” Hinata said with a saddened face. She slowly looked out at the window; then looked back at Naruto with a smile. “Naruto could you train me to be stronger,” Hinata asked happily. Naruto smiled, “Of course Hinata.” She smiled and she drew her face to his and they began to kiss. Hinata got up, walked over to the window and closed the shades, thus darkening the room. She turned around at Naruto and proceeded to take off her clothes. Naruto went crimson as her saw the woman he loved in her bra and panties. He then took off all his clothes, until he got to his boxer shorts. Hinata slowly walked over to Naruto went back on him and they began kissing again. Naruto thought about the softness of Hinata’s skin, and he drew her body closer to him. All Naruto could think about was Hinata, and nothing else. Even the laughter in his mind couldn’t stop him from enjoying the moment. They both went under the blankets and fell asleep. Despite the fact it was still morning in the Sand Village, they both wanted their time alone. Especially after what transpired in that morning; when Naruto Uzumaki showed Neji, Hinata, Sakura, and Kiba why he is now called: The Demon of the Leaf Village.
