Rising Red Moon Chapter 3: Awaken the Wind Dragon.

The morning sun rose and unleashed it’s warmth upon the field where there were two tents. One was taken down and another was standing up. There also was a campfire that died over night; a waterfall fell into a nearby pond that flowed into a small stream out into the forest. In the standing tent there were two people in under the covers. Naruto woke up first with the sun beating down upon his shut eyes. He looked over next to him where Hinata was sleeping. He was down to his boxer shorts and Hinata was down to her bra and panties. He tried to remember if they did anything other than make out until they both fell asleep, but he didn’t remember anything else, except the small giggles coming from inside his mind; Kyuubi. He slowly sat up to not wake Hinata; he looked at her one more time. He thought about nothing except the times Hinata tried to get his attention, but he never really caught on until what happened last night when he found out that the girl he thought was pretty was Hinata. Naruto slowly reached over and begun to stroke Hinata’s soft skin, he tried not wake her for that was rude. He then started to stroke her dark soft hair, - Such soft hair- he thought to himself. Kyuubi could not contain his laughter, so he let it out. Naruto got mad at Kyuubi, -you keep on laughing and I’ll…-. –Or you’ll do what little boy, you need me and we are in one body so I can see your thoughts even if I don’t want to- replied Kyuubi. Naruto didn’t answer for he knew Kyuubi couldn’t help himself. He got up, carefully put on his clothes and began the “Chakra Wall Destruction Jutsu”. Upon entering the place where his Chakra was stored he noticed that Kyuubi was waiting for him. –So you want to keep expanding your power, I won’t get in your way for your also making me more powerful too. - “What,” Naruto yelled. –Pathetic you see, since were both in the same body and our Chakras mix whenever you get more powerful I do too-. “But it will mean hat I won’t need you as much each time I use it,” countered Naruto. –That is correct, but you know we need each other to survive- “What do mean?” Naruto asked in confusion. –You see I need you to keep me alive, and you need me to help you if you run out of Chakra-. This was the first time Kyuubi admitted a weakness to Naruto. At first he didn’t know how to react, Kyuubi never truly told him anything that involved Kyuubi needing Naruto, but this was different. –And it now has become that you have another reason for living, that girl-. Naruto started to think about Hinata and what would happen if he died somehow, Hinata would be devastated. “Then I’ll become even stronger,” said Naruto running towards The Chakra wall that prevented him from getting any stronger. He punched it but nothing happened. –you need to use a stronger punch or a jutsu that uses Chakra- Kyuubi instructing Naruto. Taking Kyuubi’s advice Naruto formed the Rasengan in his palm and destroyed the Wall instantly after attacking it. He again felt he was getting more powerful, but he then remembered what Kyuubi told him. He must waste all remaining Chakra to gain the full effect of the jutsu. He woke up in the field, and began creating as many Shadow clones as possible. He was shocked that he could create not just hundreds but thousands now. However just creating all those clones was enough to drain half his chakra level. Then there came a Battle Royal between the many Narutos.

Hinata woke up hearing quite a bit of commotion from outside the tent. She looked to her side and Naruto wasn’t with her. She looked outside the tent and saw that Naruto was training with only a few clones. She could tell that Naruto wasn’t trying to wake her, but she couldn’t shake the feeling that Naruto was exhausting his Chakra to nothing. She quickly put on her new clothes she laid out before she slept with Naruto, Her other clothes were in her fallen tent. She then ran outside the tent yelling, “Naruto please stop, you’ll be exhausted.” But before Naruto could answer her all his clones vanished, his chakra was completely drained out. Hinata was scared to what will happen to Naruto now that he’ll be too tired to even move, but she noticed something was going on. She activated her Byakugan to see Naruto’s Chakra. She was astonished, his Chakra was returning at an alarming speed and his reserves of chakra increased dramatically. Naruto turned towards Hinata who had her mouth open in shock and amazement. He slowly moved closer to her with a smile on his face. Naruto wrapped his arms around Hinata, and she did the same. Naruto’s head went back a bit to see Hinata’s face and she looked at him with love and compassion. She didn’t need to worry about making Naruto feel uncomfortable or her fainting over being this close to him. For she knew that they were in love with each other deeply. Then both of their faces drew closer and their lips met with each other. Hinata was really happy that she was with Naruto, the person who not only believed in her many times but whom she loved ever since they met.

It was may years ago in the Leaf village academy, the class was in session and there was to be a new student coming in today. The class waited patiently for the new student. Iruka-sensei entered through the door with a girl behind him. She was very pretty but appeared to be shy; she had lavender eyes, dark hair, and grayish clothing with the Hyuuga clan symbol on the shoulders. “Alright class, allow me to introduce our new student: Hinata Hyuuga,” he said announcing to the class. “H…hello… everyone,” Hinata said stuttering. “well Hinata why don’t you sit right next to…” Iruka was about to say something when another Chuunin barged in. “Iruka we’ve got a problem,” he yelled. “Well what is it,” replied Iruka. The Chuunin walked over to a desk where there was a head on the desk with blonde hair on it, he reached over and took the hair and shirt off. In its place was a log stump. “Naruto is missing…again,” said the Chuunin as the entire class was laughing. With that being said Iruka left with the Chuunin in pursuit in search of Naruto to where ever he went off to. Hinata stood there and walked over to the empty seat next to the seat with the stump in it. After she sat down, “Hey are they gone?” said a voice coming from the window. “Naruto you’re in so much trouble,” said a younger Kiba. “Ah who cares, it fun to trick them,” replied Naruto jumping in his seat throwing out the stump. “Oh hey what’s your name,” asked Naruto to Hinata. “Hin…Hinata,” she replied. Hinata looked at the blonde haired Naruto and thought about why he would do something like trick his teachers. “My name is Naruto Uzumaki, and I’m going to be Hokage!!!” yelled Naruto with thumbs up. “Come on Naruto, you know that you’ll never become Hokage if you’re going to do tricks like that all the time,” scolded Sakura being fed up with him. He looked up at Sakura replying, “Yeah, well you wait and see I’m going to be the best Hokage ever, Believe It!!” Just then, “Naruto!!” said Iruka charging in after Naruto. Naruto quickly got up and bolted out the window where he came in. But to no avail the Chuunin blocked the window as Naruto made it to the window. Naruto got scolded while the whole class laughed at him. But Hinata just looked at him with admiration, that he has the determination and courage that she needs. From then on she continued to admire him until that admiration turned to love.

After Hinata had the flashback to when she first met Naruto they both started to eat breakfast which was Ramen, beans and BBQ pork. After Naruto slurped down his last noodle and drank all the Ramen juice, he pulled out an apple and a banana. “Naruto, I’ve never seen you eat anything other than Ramen before,” said a curious Hinata. “Ramen is the best food I’ll eat, but if I’m to be a great ninja I need to eat healthy every once in a while especially after meals.” replied Naruto. Hinata really liked that Naruto was thinking of himself, and she also pulled out a few fruits before they packed everything up and started on the road again to the Sand village to see Gaara, the Kazekage. They walked together hand in hand, and never seemed to let go. But Hinata wanted to tell him what Jiraiya said to her back in the village. It was killing her inside that she couldn’t tell Naruto that the entirety of the mission was his safe passage to the Sand Village. Naruto looked over to Hinata, and noticed a discomfort in her face. “What’s wrong Hinata,” asked Naruto. She looked at him thinking her noticed her in a saddened state. “N…N…Naruto, there’s something more to this mission than Tsunade told us,” said fearing that Naruto would be mad at her. But Naruto wasn’t mad, he just looked concerned. “What is it, why is there more to this mission than what Tsunade told us,” he asked Naruto. She saw a fallen log next to the road and she took him to it and they both sat down on it. She thought about that if she told him, she would be disobeying Jiraiya, Naruto’s Teacher, but if she didn’t tell him Naruto might not love her any more. She was being torn between her ninja duties and her one and only love. She then had enough of it and decided to tell him. “Jiraiya told me that the whole purpose of the mission was to ensure that you would make it to the sand village, to prevent some bad men from getting to you and doing terrible things to you,” Hinata started crying. The tears were starting to pour from her eyes as she was thinking about losing her love to evil people. “I…I…was…also told to not tell… this until… we left… the fire country…” she was starting to lose it as she was trying to tell him everything. Naruto seeing the fear and sadness in her eyes he wrapped his arms around her and she clenched onto to him crying and never seeming to let go of him. She didn’t stop thinking of who would do anything to Naruto; she didn’t think Naruto would do anything to make anyone mad. But these people were going to kill him, and that was something she could not be to have happen to him or her. Not after they spent their first days as lovers, not after she realized Naruto had feelings for her to. She continued to cry in his arms and never seemed to stop. Naruto slowly moved his head towards her ear whispering, “Why don’t we continue and find a suitable place to rest and so we could be alone together?” She still tried to contain her crying but nodded. They both got up and walked on the road. Hinata still crying in his arms still had no intention of letting go of him no matter how difficult it was to walk like that. They both still walked upon the road when Naruto noticed a small clearing with a small lake next to it, it was the perfect spot for them to rest while Hinata was in her state of fear.

Meanwhile back at the Leaf Village, at the Hokage building there was a lot of commotion going around as ninja were being summoned to the building. “What!!! They figured out that Naruto isn’t here,” yelled Tsunade at Jiraiya trying to calm her down. “I had no idea that they had spies in the Leaf Village as well,” replied a rather distressed Jiraiya. “We need to find them and fast!” yelling Tsunade. “Lady Hokage there is a report that they haven’t reached the Sand Village and are putting their Shinobi on a search for them.” “Damn it!!” replied Tsunade throwing her chair out the window. “Reporting for duty Ma’am,” responded Sakura as Lee, Neji, Kiba, Shikamaru, Shino, Tenten, Ino, and Choji, entered the room. “Find Naruto and Hinata, they must be returned to the Village or the Sand Village whichever is closer,” ordered Tsunade. “Also if you meet resistance avoid them at all cost, they mostly are S or A-Ranked ninja so avoid them at all cost,” ordered Jiraiya. “We should’ve kept him in the Village, Tsunade you were right,” apologized Jiraiya. “Mistakes can be forgiven if we move quickly, so move!” yelled Tsunade. With that all emptied except Jiraiya, out for the search mission. “Lady Hokage, news from the Sand Village!” said another ninja running into the office. “What!! Gaara is going to be leading the search party along with Kankuro and Temari!” Tsunade angrily yelling. “This is bad, very bad.” She said. With this much attention were giving this the Akatsuki will definitely be on this” said Jiraiya putting his head down. Tsunade gathering whatever strength to calm down looked out the window and saw the entire village scramble. She saw most ninja go out the walls in search of Naruto and the rest stayed on the walls preparing for attack. The citizens all quickly went to shelters in case of an attack. A barge came in through the door and a tall figure entered with many bodyguards. It was Hiashi Hyuuga looking very displeased, “Why has my daughter been sent with the Demon of the Leaf Village.” Tsunade looking at Hiashi intensely, “She was the only available at the time we needed this done; Now I don’t know if she’ll survive this.” Hiashi still looked very angry, “Lady Hokage why didn’t you send a team of ANBU, instead or at least Neji along with them, he’s more competent.” “Neji’s a Jounin it would attract to much unwanted attention from the Akatsuki, the same for ANBU,” answered Tsunade. “And besides Naruto’s new Jutsu is A-Ranked and is fatal to his enemies, also his other Jutsu can allow him to last in a battle longer than any one of us.” Hiashi looked at Jiraiya with interest and he asked him, “What Jutsu could be fatal to all Naruto’s enemies?”

At the small clearing found along the road to the Sand Village, Naruto was trying to comfort the weeping Hinata. She still wouldn’t let him go, she didn’t want to lose him, and she wanted the both of them make it to the Village Hidden in the Sand. They both were sitting on the shore where the small lake was. The air was hot like the past day, but the small breeze kept them cool. Naruto looked up at the water; he began to notice that the water was moving at an unnatural way, shifting from back to forth. Then a large wave grew from the lake and was heading towards them. “Hinata, we must get out of the way!” yelled Naruto picking up Hinata and running to a safe distance. The wave crashed upon where they were and it slowly receded to the lake. Naruto looked at the lake with confusion and wondered why there was a big wave heading towards them. “I see you managed to escape our attack, to be expected from one such as you: Naruto,” said a deep voice coming from the forest. “Yes, and you care for that girl a great deal young one,” said another voice. “Our masters, are awaiting you shall come with us,” as a dark figure walked out of the forest. Naruto looked around him and saw that there were at least ten or fifteen well armed ninja with scratches running forehead protectors. This meant to Naruto that they all broke ties with their village, but what made absolutely sure that they were enemies: they had a red cloud symbol on each of their shoulders. Naruto instantly recognized them as members of the Akatsuki, and put Hinata down. “Hinata these are the people who want me,” he said watching those in front of him. Hinata whipped her tears off her face and activated her Byakugan, to watch the enemies from Naruto’s blind spot. “I see that this girl and you have a relationship,” said one the ninjas. “How interesting, but no matter we are ordered to take you Naruto alive and kill those in our way,” smirked another ninja. Naruto now grew angry that if they were given these orders, then Hinata would be in the most danger since he was the “prize” of the Akatsuki, and Hinata was in their way. Naruto slowly got his hands together, and around 20 Shadow clones appeared. Now Naruto and Hinata had the advantage of numbers, and the ninjas all charged in unison at the clones. There was now a battle going on, but the Shadow clones weren’t doing so well and all disappeared upon being struck by the ninja’s attacks. In just mere seconds the clones vanished and it was just Naruto and Hinata. Hinata was trying to activate her Protection of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms, but before she could finish the jutsu’s hand signs she was struck and held hostage. Naruto looked behind him and one the ninjas had got behind Hinata and was holding her arms behind her. “Naruto, surrender and we’ll spare her life, or we kill her, your choice,” said another ninja. Naruto knew he would have to surrender to protect Hinata; he loved her and didn’t want her to be killed before him. “Let lady Hinata go!” yelled a familiar voice coming from the woods. Naruto and the ninjas looked at where the voice came from and there in the trees were Neji, Sakura, Lee, Ino, Choji, Shikamaru, Tenten, Shino, and Kiba (with Akamaru). Naruto realized that they would be distracted charged at the ninja holding Hinata. Quickly he knocked the ninja away freeing Hinata, but as she was hit with several kunai thrown by the other ninja. Naruto held his mouth open as did the other leaf village ninja. Hinata fell to the ground bleeding. Naruto picked her up jumped across the ninja who were trying to get him. Naruto got to Sakura and placed Hinata on the branch. Sakura immediately began to work healing Hinata. Naruto looked behind him where the ninja were, but they weren’t moving they just smiled. “Naruto there’s poison on one of the kunai’s!” said Sakura. Naruto was shocked and grew even angrier. He jumped down to in front of the ninjas. “You bastards, I’ll kill you all,” he said with his voice in a deep anger. He started to cry as the ninjas were laughing at him trying to mock him. Naruto made a hand sign and soon he was surrounded by his wind element. It was creating a dome around Naruto, and then a small amount of it appeared in front of the dome of wind. The small amount began to circle repeatedly, rapidly turning into a vortex of wind. The ninjas who were laughing realized that Naruto was beginning to attack, and the other Leaf Ninja especially Neji watched to see what Naruto was doing. Sakura finished getting out the poison and healed Hinata’s wounds for they were new and could easily be fixed. Hinata looked on to she her love engulfed in a wind dome and a small circular wind vortex was in front of it. Then Naruto yelled, “Wind Style: Wind Dragon Jutsu!” Then out the vortex came a serpent dragon in the form of wind. It eyes were red filled with hate, and the dragon stared at the enemy ninja. The dragon swooped at the ninja opening wide it’s mouth in an attempt to engulf them. They all started to get out of the way, but the Dragon was to fast and only a couple got away. Those who were engulfed were seen in the body in the dragon. Then they started screaming loudly as the Razor wind in the Dragon was tearing through their body and blood was rushing out of their bodies. Seeing this, the Leaf Ninja never saw a jutsu that could kill so many people before. Hinata was a bit shocked but she knew that Naruto was using this Jutsu to teach the ninja a lesson not to get Naruto mad by hurting his friends or the one he loves. The Dragon then looked at the other two ninja and swooped down at them to. They were in so much shock they didn’t have enough reaction to dodge the Dragon’s mouth. In an instant they were killed the same gruesome way the other ninja died. When the entire enemy ninja were taken care of the Dragon slowly disappeared, along with that the dome protecting Naruto disappeared. There in the middle of the dome was the same blonde hair ninja. Naruto turn to look at his friends, and they all jumped down to his level. “N…Naruto what was that,” stuttered Sakura. All his were waiting for an explanation when Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro appeared with the same shock as the others had. Naruto knew they had seen the Wind Dragon, but before he could answer anything. “Naruto you must come with us you’re no longer safe in the Fire Country,” said Gaara. “What do you mean, Gaara, Naruto needs to go back,” yelled Neji. “The situation has worsened greatly now, there were more than just those spies, a family was passing by when the Dragon came,” replied Temari. “So what does that mean,” asked Sakura? “It means that rumors will spread fast about what transpired hear, and that means the Akatsuki will defiantly be expecting Naruto to return to the Leaf Village,” answered Kankuro. With that they all started on their way to the sand village non-stop.

It was already night and they all reached the Sand village. The Sand ninja surrounded Gaara asking what happened, they didn’t notice Naruto for he was cloaked and so was the rest of the Leaf ninja so as to prevent the Akatsuki spies from noticing that Naruto was in the Sand Village. They all came to the Government building in the center of the village where Gaara arranged for sleeping Quarters for the Ninja, but he didn’t have enough rooms for everyone, so they broke down into couples. So Naruto and Hinata, got to sleep together, and the rest of the ninja slept in other rooms as couples. Naruto and Hinata were tired after a good long day, Hinata wanted to ask Naruto how he became so strong, but she never summoned the courage. She never saw Naruto look so mad before it scared her. Naruto looked to her, “I’m sorry Hinata, and I hope you never see me like that again.” She jumped to him, wrapping her arms around him never letting go. She then began to cry because Naruto said the words “never see him” those words she never wanted to hear. She pulled her head over to his and they began to kiss. They both fell on the bed in undergarments kiss each other until they both fell quietly asleep, cuddling in the bed.
